How much water pressure is required to run a system?
An ideal flow rate is excess of 20 litres per minute at not less than 4 bar. A simple pressure test can be done by placing the thumb over the tap outlet and turning the tap on slowly, if you cannot hold the pressure back this means pressure is sufficient.
How often should I water my garden?
We recommend that lawns are watered for 20 minutes twice a week, beds and borders 20 minutes 3 times a week.

Drippers in pots and baskets 2 to 3 minutes 2 or 3 times a day

Obviously the watering times would be slightly decreased for heavy clay areas and increased for sandy areas. Watering is best done late at night, as there will be minimum evaporation and most benefit.
Can I run my system from saved rainwater?
Yes providing the reservoir is of sufficient size to maintain a supply of water to the system through undetermined period of dry weather. In most cases we find a mains top up is required. Remember the system will be most used in dry weather and your reservoir could be emptied after one watering.
